Biography :

Stefan Glück, MD, PhD, is V.P. Global Medical Affairs, at Celgene Corporation since October 2014, and a medical oncologist with focus on breast cancer. He has overseen oncology activities worldwide, as well as the Immuno-Oncology Program in solid tumors and hematology. Recently, his job requirements have shifted to include Early Assets. He previously served as a Sylvester Professor in the Department of Medicine at Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami, Florida until September 2014. From 2003–2008, he was the Clinical Director of the Braman Family Breast Cancer Institute, and from January 2009 - December 2010 Assistant Director of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and Associate Chief, Division Hematology & Medical Oncology. He has been a PI of 37 clinical studies of breast cancer in Miami, as well as investigator in numerous scientific, translational projects. Before his move to Miami, Dr. Glück was Director of Southern Alberta Breast Cancer Program at the Tom Baker Cancer Center, a Professor in the departments of oncology, medicine, pharmacology & therapeutics at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Deputy Head, Dept. of Oncology at the University of Calgary. He completed his medical studies at the Free University of West Berlin, Germany. The internship in Berlin was followed by residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology at the Heinrich Heine Universität in Düsseldorf, Germany, and a medical oncology & bone marrow transplant fellowship at the Princess Margaret Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Glück was presented the “America’s Top Oncologists” 2008 award from Consumers’ Research Council of America, as well as “Best Doctors in America” honor since 2006, and has annually earned that prestige every year to 2014. This award was warranted after less than 3 years of working in the United States. He is a member of such prestigious professional organizations, as the American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society for Medical Oncology, American & European Association of Cancer Research, and the International Association for Breast Cancer Research. He is a reviewer of numerous journals e.g.: Journal of Clinical Oncology, European Journal of Cancer, Lancet Oncology, Lancet, Breast Cancer Research, The Oncologist, The Breast Journal, Clinical Breast Cancer and many others. He was Medical Associate Editor of Breast Cancer Research & Treatment and Co-Editor in Chief of Journal of Carcinogenesis and Clinical Communications Oncology that he co-founded in 2014. He has authored or co-authored over 270 articles. In addition, Dr Glück has written or co-written several book chapters and numerous journal abstracts and has presented more than 380 papers at national and international meetings.

Dr Jan Jacques Michiels is a Lifestyle Physician and Medical Doctor, MD, educated in Internal Medicine, Hematology, Bloodcoagulation and Vascular Medicine and graduated as PhD at the Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam based on his Thesis Erythromelalgia & Thrombocythemia in 1981. Dr Michiels published more than 400 original manuscripts in peer reviewed international medical journals . Dr Michiels frequently served as Guest Editor and was the Founder and Editor in Chief of Seminars in Vascular Medicine. Dr Michiels is the Founder of the Thrombocythemia Vera Study Group (TVSG) in 1994, the European Working Group on Myeloproliferative Disorders EWG.MPD in 1998 and Myeloproliferative Neoplasms EWG.MPN in 2006 as scientific working groups of the European Hematology Association: EHA. Dr. JJ Michiels is the founder and chair of International Collaboration and Academic Research on Myeloproliferative Neoplasms: ICAR.MPN in 2015 within the HARMONY project of the EHA to collect big data on MPN to improve health and quality of life of MPN patients. Dr Jan Jacques Michiels is the founder and scientific director of the Goodheart Institute & Foundation in Nature Medicine & Health, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, Freedom of Science and Education, Free University Network: FUN Europe. Dr JJ Michiels is co-founder of the Central European Vascular Forum (CEVF) and allied Thrombosis Hemostasis Research Group. Dr Michiels serves as consultant professor in the Hematology and Bloodcoagulation University Hospital Antwerp with special attention to MPN and was co-founder of the VWF-VWD Research Institute of the Hemostasis Thrombosis Laboratory at the Department of Hematology University Hospital, Antwerp. Dr JJ Michiels serves as consultant professor in Hematology and Bloodcoagulation, Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia; consultant to the Dutch Society of Internal Medicine and the Ministery of Health Science and Sport and consultant of quality driven Industrial and Pharmaceutical Medicine. Dr JJ Michiels is a editor in chief of 3 Medical Journals and acts as a Guest Editor on request and by self initiation. Dr Michiels is active member of the Belgian, Dutch, German and International Societies on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), the European Hematology Association (EHA) and Honory Member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH).

Dr.Caspar Haule is the General Surgeon and Head of Breast Unit at Muhimbili National Hospital, Tanzania. He holds seven years of experience as General Surgeon and Breast Surgeon and he is a member of the Medical Association of Tanzania (MAT) and Tanzania Surgical Associations. The key research papers of Dr.Haule are Efficacy of water-soluble contrast medium (Gastrografin) compared with standard conservative treatment in the management of adhesive small bowel obstruction at a Tertiary Hospital and Association between changes in the serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D level and survival in breast cancer patients receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

Inés Llamas-Ramos completed her PhD at the age of 26 from The University of Salamanca, Salamanca, Spain. Currently she is working as a physiotherapist in Salamanca. As well as her clinical work she is also fortunate to be able to work as a visiting professor at The University of Salamanca, in the Department of Nursing and Physiotherapy. Dimitrios H. Roukos, MD, Ph.D., is Professor of Surgery – Precision Cancer Medicine and Founding director of “Centre for Biosystems and Genome Network Medicine” in the Ioannina University, School of Medicine. His translational and clinical research from traditional and single gene investigation to molecular networks and clinical cancer genome NGS analysis has been recognized by the international scientific community. He has published more than 236 PubMed papers with recent focus on NGS conventional and breakthrough genome analysis (> 80 articles) and more recently in precision cancer medicine (31 articles). These publications have received more than 8420 citations with h-index: 72 (Scopus). David H. Nguyen, Ph.D., is a tumor biologist developing image analysis algorithms to advance digital pathology for cancer diagnostics. His algorithms quantify knowledge-based features of tissue architecture so they can be included in machine learning models that predict clinical outcome. Dave obtained his B.A. and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Radiology at Stanford University. Professor Beebe is a Research Professor in the Frank Reidy Research Center for Bioelectrics at Old Dominion University (ODU). He received his PhD in Medical Sciences (Pharmacology) at the University of Toledo College of Medicine in 1982 and was a post-doctoral fellow at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He was a Fulbright and Marshall Scholar in Oslo, Norway. He is the author of 125 peer reviewed manuscripts and books chapters. He was awarded two NIH grants analyzing structure and function of Protein Kinase A and cAMP signal transduction. He now investigates mechanisms of NanoPulse Stimulation (NPS) in cancer and biology. He has trained over 30 graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, is a member of Editorial Boards for four journals and is the Chair of the ODU Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).

Delegates are personally responsible for their belongings at the venue. The Organizers will not be held responsible for any stolen or missing items belonging to Delegates, Speakers or Attendees; due to any reason whatsoever.


Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind.


Please note that any (or) all transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant.


Press permission must be obtained from Allied Academies Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The Allied academies are a non-profit organization. This conference is not associated with any commercial meeting company.

Requesting an Invitation Letter

For security purposes, letter of invitation will be sent only to those individuals who had registered for the conference. Once your registration is complete, please contact to request a personalized letter of invitation.

Regarding refunds, all bank charges will be for the registrant's account.

Cancellation, Postponement and Transfer of Registration

Cancellation Policy

If Allied academies cancel this event for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Conferences (AAC) event which must occur within one year from the date of cancellation.


If Allied academies postpone an event for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on rescheduled dates, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Conferences event which must occur within one year from the date of postponement.

Transfer of registration

All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organization if registered person is unable to attend the event. Transfers must be made by the registered person in writing to Program Manager. Details must be included with the full name of replacement person, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied academies if the person is unable to attend one of conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if it is intimated within 14 days of the respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied Academies will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues cannot come under the consideration of cancellation policy of Allied Academies, including the inability to obtain a visa.

Refund Policy

If the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund arrangements apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overheads, we had to keep Refund Policy is as following slabs-

·         Before 60 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund less $100 service Fee

·         Within 60-30 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund

·         Within 30 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund

·         E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Accommodation Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies, and they generally apply when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. Please contact us as soon as possible, if you wish to cancel or amend your accommodation. Allied Academies will advise the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to cancelling or amending your booking, to ensure you are fully aware of any non-refundable deposits.
