Metastasis and Drug Resistance

Metastasis and Drug Resistance

Cancer cells break away from their original site of formation, migrate via the blood or lymph system, and establish new tumors in distant parts of the body during  metastasis . Due to drug resistance,  chemotherapy  fails to treat the majority of cancer patients with advanced disease, particularly those with the most common kinds of solid tumours. As a result, this session focuses on  metastasis restriction  and breakage of  drug resistance  to treat cancer.
